In the beginning of October 1694 arrived 4 Dutch E.I.C.
ship off Texel. They were the Nichtevecht and Agatha on account of the chamber
Amsterdam, the Nieuwland for the chamber and finally the Ittershem for the
chamber Hoorn. They all left Batavia 7 February and the Nichtevecht and
Ittershem, arrived 4 October 1694 off Texel [the Agatha arrived 8 and the
Nieuwland 15 October]. Their total cargo included 1514994 pd zwarte peper,
84565½ pd witte peper, 391500 pd Bengaalse salpeter, 165000 pd sapanhout,
362500 pd Japans staafkoper, 200188 pd tin, 97720 pd poedersuiker, 36500
Benjuin Cabesa, 14855¾ pd Japanse camphor, 13084 pd thee, 5034 Javaanse
Cardamom, 22160 pd Radix China, 6600 pd Galiga, 1157 pd gomlak op stokjes, 4080
