Austrian navy asked budget for building warships and fleet base according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch Nieuwsblad dated 7 July 1906

The commanding officer of the Austrian Hungarian navy requested a budget for the building of 3 large battleships and a number of cruisers and the founding of fleet bases in the centre of Dalmatia.
