Dutch merchant trade shipping around Smyrna according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 25 October 1852

The Dutch consul general at Smyrna reported 7 October that since 27 September arrived there the schooner Koerrier master Schaap in ballast from Trieste, the galliot ship Boreas master Van Gelderen from Vlaardingen, Gibraltar and Malta with some merchandise on board, the kof Lumina master H.J. Brouwer of Trieste in ballast and the kof Dina & Immechina master J. de Jongh. From Symrna departed 29 September the schooner Jonkvrouw Geertrui master De Boer, de schooner Drie Gebroeders master J. Venster who intended to load at Samos 300 drums raisins for Amsterdam, 7 October towards Rotterdam the schooner Hollander master J. Cordia, the schooner Lumina towards Alicante and Hamburg, the kof Dina & Immechina towards Tschesme and Stettin and the Oceaan master Van Duffelen would probably depart 9 October with a cargo of fruit towards Vlaardingen. Value of freights for the Netherlands was ƒ 50-52 for each last.
