Greek and Turkish navies in the Mediterranean according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 11 March 1826

Trieste, 23 February. A recently from Smyrna arrived vessel confirmed the happenings at Missolunghi. It was just 27 Greek ships which attacked so 28 January successfully the Turkish-Egyptian fleet and forced to retreat towards Smyrna.
