Naval operations of the Dutch East Company at Malacca according to the Generale Missive dated 25 March 1741

The yacht Christina Sophia became 9 August after an incident at Malacca leaking. After being repaired she arrived at Batavia with letters dated 30 September. With the Parel arrived 5 January letters dated 27 December and with the sloop Gozewina 26 February a letter dated 10 February. The Magdalena and Velsen departed 5 January towards Bengal, the Zoetelingskerke and Castricum 27 January towards Ceylon [Sri Lanka]. The Parel transported 62.300 lb tin, 28 masts, 505 reaal gold and 10.550 lb. bad gunpowder.
