Smyrna, 11 May, newspaper Le Spectateur-Oriental. The Russian goelette Graaf Langeron master Petrowich coming from Constantinople towards Tripoli was visited by a Greek flotilla cruising in that area. She was allowed to leave but afterwards was a mistiek send to her who seized a amount of silver and other goods. The master complained after his arrival at Scio and an Austrian warship immediately departed to demand the given back of the properties. The Ionian brigantine St. Nicolo master Petalas underway from Smyrna towards Salonika was searched through by two Greek mistieks who take a large amount of goods. She returned to complain about the happening. The Austrian master of the brigantine Themistocles was forced by bad weather to enter at Nio. He was totally plundered by the Greeks and only the assistance of a vessel of Ipsara provided him to be killed. The eparch of that island however managed the recovery of most of the stolen ware that was destined for Zante and returned it to the master.
