Hamburg, 14 August. According to a tiding from the Italian borders dated 29 July based on tidings from Corfu was the Turkish fleet commanded by Cara-aly after her defeat in the waters of Mitylene by the Greek fleet fled towards the guns of the Dardanelles. She was there strengthened by some ships coming from Constantinople and again sailed in the Archipelago. Between the island Lemnos and Mitylene was she after again being defeated by the Greek fleet fled to the Dardanelles.
