Troop transport Surrey off the African coast according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 26 November 1825

London, 22 November. Captain Drewe of the 95th regiment arrived with the transport Surrey off the African coast. The voyage takes 35 days when leaving Sierra Leon 22 September and Gambia 10 October. Drewe handed orders dated 20 September over to general major Turner. The dry season started in the meantime and there were hardly any sick men among the troops.
