A letter from the agent of Lloyds at Smyrna dated 18 June mentioned that since 2
June none British ships visited the harbour. Yesterday left a Turkish frigate
and a brig of war the harbour while escorting transports with around 5.000
soldiers on board towards the Captain Pasha off Mytilene.
