British paddle steamer Bulldog used as tug in the Great Belt according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsche courant dated 1 May 1854

An item reported that daily British steamships entered Copenhagen, Denmark briging in captured Russian merchant ships (1). The British paddle steamship Bulldog was now stationed in the Great Belt and as she was well known with the waters in that area to be used by the British warships as pilot boat and as tug.
