Batavia, Dutch East Indies [Indonesia], 14 August. The expedition to restore
the calmness in the territory Maros, South Sulawesi was quite successful. The
brig Jacoba Elizabeth with on board 17 wounded arrived 23 July at Macassar. The
other ships still supported the troops while underway towards Maros and
intended to return to Macassar after the arrival at the troops at Maros.
