Dutch towing company NV Nieuwe Rotterdamse Sleepdienst founded according to the Dutch newspaper Leeuwarder courant dated 7 August 1961

An item reported that ten shipping companies of Rotterdam founded the NV Nieuwe Rotterdamse Sleepdienst with a capital of ƒ 2.000.000 divided over 12 priority shares and 19.988 common shares each of ƒ 100. The capital was full filled with the priority shares dived over some of the largest partners. The new service was to be active in Europoort at Rotterdam with towage and salvage activities, exploiting tugs and transport of stores. Mr. B.M. de Court Onderwater and J.D. Wilton were appointed as directors. The involved shipping companies were NV Internationale Sleepdienst Maatschappij, L. Smit en Co,’s Sleepdienst NV, NV Scheepvaartmaatschappij Tros, NV Vereenigde Onafhankelijke Sleepdienst, NV Stoomsleepboot  Cosmopoliet, NV Stoomsleepdienst Mars, NV Stoomsleepdienst Maas, Hudig en Veder NV, NV Maatschappij Binnenvaart and Phs. van Ommeren NV.
