30 April. The five new warships ordered by the Republic were to be completed in

using felucs and sailing via the fairways of Dalmatia to be prevent taken
prisoner by the Russians. A ship of Dalmatia loaded with war stores underway
from Morea towards Constantinople was in the waters of Cerigo attacked by a
Russian frigate. Her final fate was unknown. According to rumours were also
five French ships loaded with victuals for Constantinople captured by the
Russians.
