Austrian naval base at Pola controlled by German forces according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag dated voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 12 July 1915

An item dated Rome the 11 referred to the newspaper Giornale Itali which reported that the Austrian naval base Pola was now complete controlled by the Germans. It was used for supplying victuals and weapons for the planes and the submarines active in the Adriatic and Eagan seas and the Mediterranean.
