American whaler Annawan lying off Guinea according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 26 December 1865

An item referred to the letter written by captain Fisher on board of the bark Annawan of New Bedford lying on 4 November at the Isle of Delos, West African coast (Iles de Los or Loose Islands off Conakry, Guinea). Her catch consisted of 45 barrels sperm and 7 barrels blackfish oil since she departed Fayal, Azores destined for the Cornell Ground with the intention to visit Barbados in March.
