Dutch frigate ship Java Packet built at Amsterdam, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche en Nieuwedieper Courant dated 29 May 1862

An item reported the intended launching on Saturday the 31st of the Dutch 750 tons frigate ship Java Packet at the shipyard De Boot at Amsterdam. She was built by shipbuilder F.F. Groen for account of G.W. van Barneveld Kooij for the oceanic trading and her captain would be D. Crap Hellingman.
