An item referred to a letter written by captain Fish
on board of the Eliza Adams of New Bedford lying
on 31 October at Honolulu, Hawaii
returned from the Arctic reporting a catch
that season of 700barrels whale oil and 11.000 lbs. Fish was
forced to return homewards due to his worse health. He took with him 1.500
barrels oil from the Lagoda.
