Dutch bark Nijverheid wrecked according to the Dutch newspaper Weekblad van Den Helder en het Nieuwediep dated Monday 30 November 1857

An item dated Den Helder the 28th reported that on Monday 16.00 o’clock during misty worse weather the Dutch bark Nijverheid stranded on the Noorderhaaks and smashed into pieces. She was with a cargo of coal underway from Nothshields towards Cadiz. A lifeboat, a plate with the letters S.P. and six bodies were found back on the Dutch island Texel.
