German schooner Venus wrecked on the Dutch island Texel according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche en Nieuwedieper Courant dated 3 January 1864

An announcement reported the auction on Monday the 4^th 11.00 o’ clock at Cockdorp, Eijerland, Texel of the wreck and inventory of the schooner Venus of Hamburg captain Koppelman. She had been underway from Hamburg towards Curacao. The wreck was still lying on the Vliehors.
