Russian paddle steam frigate Olaf repaired at Den Helder, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche en Nieuwedieper Courant dated 20 November 1859

An item dated Den Helder the 19th reported that in the afternoon two days earlier the Russian steam warship Olaff commanded officer Weymarn left Den Helder. She stayed there for some weeks to repair her steam engine.(1)

1. The paddle steam frigate Olaf belonging to the Russian Baltic Fleet of 18 guns, built in 1852, manned by Finnish sailors and decommissioned in 1892.
