Bark ship Aeolus abandoned by crew brought into Brouwershaven, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche Courant dated 6 November 1869

An item reported that the bark ship Aeolus captain Oestereich underway from Sundsvall [Sundsvall, Sweden] towards Hartlepool, England was towed into the harbour of Brouwershaven, Netherlands. She was abandoned by her crew on 20 October on the Doggersbank. The crew arrived safely at Hull, England.
