Dutch bark Pieter for sale at Den Helder, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche en Nieuwedieper Courant dated 28 February 1868
An announcement reported the intended auction on Saturday 29th at 20.00 o’clock in Tivoli, Den Helder, Netherlands of 3/32 part in the Dutch flagged copper tightened Dutch bark ship Pieter captain H.Y. Visser. Measurement 419 ton/221 last. Managed by William Pont of Edam, Netherlands. She was lying in the Koopvaarders Binnenhaven at Nieuwediep before the office of C.A. Amnons.
