An item reported that the Dutch brig Zr.Ms. Zeehond captain lieutenant F.A.A. Gregory who left on 16 July Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands arrived on 1 September at Paramaribo, Surinam. Everything was well on board.(1)

1. Laid down at the navy yard at Rotterdam, Netherlands on 12 January 1845, launched on 12 June 1850, 1882 loaned to the KNZRV and finally sold to be broken up in 1913. With as dimensions 31,50 x 9,50 x 4,50 meters and a displacement of 527 tons and armed with 12 guns.
