Dutch screw steamship 4th class Bali underway from Hong Kong to Macau according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche en Nieuwedieper Courant dated 7 October 1858

An item referred to a letter of the commanding officer of the Dutch screw steamship Zr.Ms. Bali lieutenant 1st class jhr. Van Capellen who wrote that he left on 30 July Hong Kong towards Macau. Everything was well on board.(1)

1. Originally classified as screw steamship 3rd, later as 4th class. Built at Kinderdijk 1855-1856, condemned and sold to be broken up in 1877. Dimensions 38,00-40,80 (over all) x 8,74 x 3,90 metres, displacement 620tons, a horsepower of 100 nhp, an armament of 10 guns and a crew numbering 85 men.
