Dutch paddle ship Zr.Ms. Cycloop departed Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands with in tow the Dutch steam frigate Zr,Ms. De Ruyter towards Vlissingen, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Courant van Den Helder dated 9 October 1861

An item dated Den Helder, Netherlands the 8th referred to tidings received from the navy yard at Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands of the 6th reporting that the Dutch paddle steamship Zr.Ms. Cycloop (1) departed towards Vlissingen, Netherlands with the screw steam frigate Zr.Ms. De Ruyter (2) towards the navy yard at Vlissingen, Netherlands to be there completed.

1. Paddle steamship 2nd class, on stocks at naval yard at Flushing, Netherlands 23 July 1840, launched 13 June 1843, condemned and stricken 1873, dimensions 47,00 x 9,20 x 4,00m, 875 tons displacement, 6 guns., 220 hp horsepower.
2. Originally laid down at the navy yard at Vlissingen, Netherlands as a ship of the line 2nd class, later converted into a screw steam frigate and finally into an armoured steam floating battery
