Dutch sailor Rijkers of Swedish bark Carl von Döblen drowned according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche Courant dated 17 November 1869

In an announcement dated Den Helder, Netherlands the 15th reported W. Rijkers the death of his son Sijbrand old 29 year. He fell over board and drowned at the roads of Rangoon, Burma. He was ship’s cook and purser on board of the Swedish bark ship Carl von Döblen captain V.O. Slinman.
