Dutch schooner Princess saved crew of Prussian bark Pallau according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche en Nieuwedieper Courant dated 22 October 1869

An item dated Den Helder, Netherlands 21st reported that the Dutch schooner Princess Emelie captain W.J. Driest arrived that morning coming from Riga, Latvia with the crew of the Prussian bark ship Therese captain Pallau numbering 12 persons. She was abandoned while sinking underway with a cargo of salt from Liverpool, England towards the Baltic.
