Dutch screw steamship 1st class Zr.Ms. Admiraal van Wassenaer underway from Gibraltar towards Malta according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche en Nieuwedieper Courant dated 22 October 1869

An item dated Den Helder, Netherlands 21st reported that the Dutch screw steam frigate Zr.Ms. Admiraal van Wassenaer captain F.R. Toe Water departed the 18th from Gibraltar towards Malta.(1)

1.Laid down at the navy yard at Amsterdam on 15 February 1933, 1850 disassembled, laid down in 1853 as a screw steam frigate (later screw steamship 1st class) and launched in 1856, finally sold in 1913.
