Dutch screw steam schooner Zr.Ms. Montrado arrived at Brouwershaven, Netehrlands returning from the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Heldersche en Nieuwedieper Courant dated 14 October 1860

An item reported that in the morning of the 9th the Dutch screw steamship Zr.Ms. Montrado captain lieutenant jhr. J.H. van Cappellen (also adjutant of the king) arrived at Brouwershaven, Netherlands returning from the Dutch East Indies. Everything was well on board.(1)

1. Screw steam schooner, ex-Vuurpijl renamed 1854, built in 1853-1854 at the navy yard at Amsterdam, Netherlands and sold in 1867. Displacement 407 tons and as dimensions 42,15 x 8,16x 3,30 metres. Armed with 10 guns.
