Huge Brazilian naval program for a period of 10 years according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1936 no. 3

An item referred to the magazine Le yacht dated 29 February 1936 reporting that the Brazilian fleet plan for the next 10 years included the building of 2 cruisers with a main armament of 15,2cm guns, 10 destroyers to be built by Thornycroft at Southampton, England, 6-950 ton submarines, 1-5.000 ton oil tanker for supplying the submarines and of which the building was ordered at Trieste, Italy and further more smaller vessels like minesweepers and torpedo motor boats.
