Navy of Siam strengthened with British and Japanese built warships according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1936 no. 3

An item referred to the magazine Proc. of February 1936 reporting that Siam ordered the building of 4-370 ton submarines by Japanese shipyards. Those would be the first submarines ever in the navy of Siam. That navy consisted on that moment of 2 British built gunboats, 1 British built 700 ton destroyer, 2 Japanese built 375 ton destroyers, 4 Japanese built torpedo boats and 5 British built torpedo motor boats with a length of 55‘.
