Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Boreas and brig Zr.Ms. Merkuur commissioned to replace ships inn the Dutch East and West Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Vlissingse Courant dated 3 March 1835

An item dated The Hague, Netherlands 26th February reported that the Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Boreas (1) captain lieutenant D.E. Paling lying at Vlissingen, Netherlands and the brig Merkuur (2) captain lieutenant J. Berkhout Molenaar medium April were to be commissioned. The first ship was to replace the Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Heldin (3) in the Dutch East Indies and the second one the Dutch brig Zr.Ms. Pegasus (4) in the Dutch West Indies.
