Netherlands Antilles tug Cudarebo 1980-2009 (Voe Chief 2009-)
According to the magazine Lekko dated January 1981 launched on 13 June 1980 at the shipyard of Ton Bodewes, Franeker, Netherlands with yard number F 76 for account of Aruba Bestuurscollege. Gross register tonnage 150 tons. Shipspotting reports a tug Cudarebo built in 1980 at the Damen Shipyard Gorinchem, Gorinchem, Netherlands. Renamed September 2009 Voe Chief. IMO 8008163, MMSI 235075142 and callsign 2CRL5. Gross tonnage 131 tons and as dimensions 26 x 8 x 3,4 metres. Maritime-connection gives the same details as shipspotting except for the dimensions which are not given. Shipping-data reports tug with IMO 8008163, callsign J8B4060, built 1980 and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines-flagged. Scheepvaartnieuws gives the next details. The casco was built at the Scheepswerf Ton Bodewes, Franeker, Netherlands with yard number F 76 but she was completed at the Scheepswerf Damen B.V., Gorinchem with yardnumber 3113. A Damen Stan tug 2608 Mk3 with a gross tonnage of 179 tons, net tonnage 53 tons and as dimensions 26,19 x 8,06 x 3,25 x 4,07 (depth) metres. Launched on 12 February 1980 and delivered in September to the Aruba Port Authority N.V., Oranjestad, Aruba with as callsign PJBY Sold in 2008 to Daltra Antilles N.V., Barcadero, Aruba and rebuilt with a gross tonnage of 131 tons. Since 2009 named Voe Chief, United Kingdom-flagged, callsign 2CRL5 and managed and owned by Delta Marine Ltd., Lerwick. Delta-Marine gives as details dimensions 26,00 x 8,00 x 3,20 metres, speed 11,5 knots, bollard pull 26 ton and main horsepower 2.250 bhp.
