Nederlandsche Handel-Maatschappij (N.H.M.) hired Dutch clipper frigate Noach as troop transport according to the Dutch newspaper Bataviaasch handelsblad dated 27 December 1859

An item reported that the N.H.M. hired the Dutch ship Noach captain Van Schelven to transport a detachment soldiers of 153 men from the Netherlands towards Java, Dutch East Indies. They would embark on 11 December. (1)
