Nederlandsche Handel-Maatschappij (N.H.M.) hired Dutch bark Constantia as troop transport according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Rotterdamsche courant dated 14 January 1869

An item reported that the N.H.M. hired the Dutch ship Constantia of Rotterdam, Netherlands captain A.D. Brinkerink to transport a detachment military from the Netherlands towards Java, Dutch East Indies.(1)

1. Source Staat der Nederlandsche Zeemagt en Koopvaardij-vloot op 1 Januarij 1864 mentioned a bark Constantia, captain M.A. Overgaauw, owned by J.R. Veder en Zoon, tonnage 741 ton, built in 1850 and homeport Rotterdam, Netherlands.
