Nederlandsche Handel-Maatschappij (N.H.M.) hired Dutch clipper frigate Noach as troop transport according to the Dutch newspaper Java-bode dated 8 June 1864

An item reported that the N.H.M. hired the Dutch ship Noah captain J.B. Ulrich to transport 150 military included 12 non-commissioned officers and 4 cabin passengers from the Netherlands towards Batavia, Dutch East Indies. They were to embark on 30 April.(1)
