Dutch frigate Hollandia hailed underway British frigate Woolloomooloo according to the Dutch newspaper Bataviaasch Handelsblad dated 7 December 1864

An item reported that the Dutch frigate ship Hollandia (1) captain Wap coming from Rotterdam, Netherlands hailed on 13 September on the position 3º0’North latitude and 13º57’West longitude the British frigate ship Woolloomooloo (2)underway from London, England towards Melbourne, Australia already 32 days underway.

2. Lloyds Register for 1864-1865 mentioned a Woolloomooloo, captain J. Ross, built at Walter&Co. Hood, Aberdeen 1952, owned by GeorgeThompson, Aberdeen, tonnage 645 ton and as dimensions 154’7” x 26’9” x 19’1” .
