Venezuelan schooner of war Libertad temporarily stranded in the bay of St. Micheil according to the Dutch newspaper De Curacaosche courant dated 11 September 1869

An item reported the arrival at Willemstad, Curacao on Tuesday the 7th of the Venezuelan schooner of war Libertad commanded by M. Guerra. She stranded the Saturday in the Bay of St. Michiel in the heavy southern winds but was refloated with the assistance of the Dutch schooner Adelaida captain Van Grieken.
