Mail brought by Venezuelan ship towards Willemstad, Curacao according to the Dutch newspaper De Curacaosche courant dated 9 January 1869

An item reported that on Saturday the2nd a Venezuelan ship arrived coming from la Guayra with on board the mail dating from December 1868. The mail was picked up by the Venezuelan war steamship Bolivar at Rocas wherer the steam packet Estrella was stranded and brought by her towards La Guayra.
