Movements of the Colombian warships Kongres. Boyaca, Bolivar, Orinoco and Pichincha according to the Dutch newspaper De Curacaosche courant dated 28 June 1823

An item referred to a letter date La Guayra, Venezuela the 16th reporting that the Colombian naval force there lying in the bay consisted of the 46-gun frigate Kongres recently arrived coming from England, the 26-gun corvette Bolivar, 22-gun corvette Boyaca and the 20-gun Orinoco. The Bolivar was bound for Curacao within some days with the crew and stores for the Pichincha. From St. Thomas arrived a merchant ship with war stores. The corvette Boyaca transported from Cartagena a bomb boiler, 496 bombs, 425 barrels of gunpowder each of 500 pound and so on.
