British sloop HMS Hesper arrived at Madras, British Indies returning from cruising according to the Dutch newspaper Java Government Gazette dated 27 July 1816

An item reported the arrival at Madras, British Indies on 5th May of the British sloop HMS Hesper captain Campbell returning from cruising.(1)
