Russian and British steamships Ziryanin and Canbian collided according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 4 July 1937

An item reported  the arrival at 06.00 o'clock on the 3rd of the Russian steamship Ziryanin at Hoek van Holland, Netherlands while towed by the Dutch tug Hoek van Holland. Underway from Odessa towards Rotterdam, Netherlands collided she in the Channel with the British steamship Canbian. Gross register tonnage 2.593 tons.
