Dutch East Indiaman Kleverskerke bound for the Dutch East Indies in 1742

She left Rammekens, province Zealand, Netherlands on 12 December 1742 with as captain Anthonie Marijnissen, visited Cape of Good Hope, South Africa between 19 March-9 April 1743 and arrived on 15 October at Batavia, Dutch East Indies. Her crew numbered 124 (arrival)-146 9departure) sailors and further more were 128 (arrival)-146 (departure) soldiers on board. Also called Cleverskerk, Of the E.I.C.-chamber Zealand, on stocks by Hendrik Raas at E.I.C-yard at Middelburg, Netherlands on 15 June 1742, launched on 20 August, dimensions 1???6 x ? x ? and a tonnage of 850 metric tons.
