American whaler Smyrna again to be fitted out as whaler according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 19 July 1859

An item reported that the bark Smyrna of New Bedford, USA of 219 tons was bought by Charles Randall and to be fitted out as a whaler with as captain Webb, earlier of the bark Osceola which was condemned at Pernambuco, Brazil. The departure was planned around 1 September.(1)
