American whaler Timor of Sag Harbour, USA for sale according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated 28 June 1859

An advertisement announced the intended public auction on Thursday June 23rd at 10.00 o’clock of the Timor of 280 tons with sails, rigging, cables and anchors. She was built at Medford, Massachusetts, USA, retopped in 1849, in 1853 recalled, felted and sheathed and 2 two years later metalled. Shipping agent H. Copper at Sag Harbour.
