American whalers Eliza, Young Phoenix and William Wilson sending part of their catches with Helen McGaw back home according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated 28 June 1859

An item reported the 600 tons ship Helen McGaw of New York, USA on 20 April lying at Mauritius been chartered for 3.500 US dollars by captain Cornell of the bark Eliza (1) of New Bedford, captain Shockley of the ship Young Phoenix (2) of New Bedford and captain Taber of the bark William Wilson (3) of Warren to transport oil towards New Bedford, departing around the 1st of June.
