French brig le Diadème and corvette l’Agatha underway with troops towards Bona according to the Dutch newspaper Goessche Courant dated 2 January 1843

An item dated Paris, France 27 December 1842 referred to tidings from Toulon, France reporting that from that port still troops were sent to Africa. The brig le Diadème departed the 22nd with 900 men bound for Bona. [Annaba, Algeria?] A day earlier departed the corvette l’Agatha with 400 men on board.
