Steamship Namvian transporting stores for French expeditionary force in China. according to the Dutch newspaper Java-bode dated 26 August 1884

An item reported that French authorities at Haiphong used the steamship Namvian for transporting stores from Thuanan towards Haiphong for the French troops.(1)
