French goelette Topaze visited Surinam according to the Dutch newspaper Surinaamsche courant en Governements advertentieblad dated 13 August 1874
An item reported the arrival at Paramaribo, Surinam on the 11th
of the French schooner of war Topaze captain Hernandes coming from Cayenne,
French Guyana.(1)
