An item dated Batavia, Dutch East Indies 14th reported the departure of the Russian steam warship Pamiaty Azowa (1) captain Lomon, Admiraal Nakhim (2) captain Fedotoff and Wladimir Monomach (3) captain Dobasoff towards Bangkok, Thailand.

Notes
1. Armoured cruiser Pamiat Azova, laid down at the Baltic Works in 1886, launched in June 1888, completed in 1890 and sunk on 18 August 1919.
2. Armoured cruiser Admiral Nakhimov, laid down at Baltic Works in 1884, launched in November 1883, completed in 1888 and scuttled on 28 May 1905.
3. Armoured cruiser Vladimir Monomakh, laid down at the Baltic Works in 1880, launched in 1882, completed in 1886 and sunk on 28 May 1905.
